This pictorial research shows interest in the human figure, dealing with it with humour and irony. Using pages of fashion magazines, Guim Tió seems to realise cosmetic surgery – through the pictorial language brilliantly combined with the medium of photography – thanks to the application of Oil pastels on glossy paper. He creates colourful characters, both funny and intriguing.
